Monotony The children paced through the halls in their identical clothes, almost as in chains. They walked in single file down the rigid hallway, through their prison of uni formality and utter boringness. Not a single jagged edge of uniquity was available in the bleak, gloomy, and ancient halls of the school. The children’s faces were stained with the disgusting blemish of society’s expectations of them, to be good little boys and girls, and not misbehave. What caused this rash devastation of uniquity?
